In this paper, I will first explain “Visual Pleasure and Narrative Cinema” by Laura Mulvey. Then, I will describe the “WAP” music video by Cardi B featuring Megan Thee Stallion and use Mulvey’s article to analyze it. Cardi B’s song started debates about feminism, so I will use a few articles related to these debates to further the discussion.
